Snacks.
These are my kryptonite. I love snacks but I have learned that I can’t just love my snacks like I used to! So, I have to find options for a healthy snack that taste good but aren’t filled with things you can’t pronounce!
Some days, you just don’t feel like putting in the effort to make that kind of snack. Instead, you should prepare for that by whipping up a batch of these delicious dark chocolate blueberry oat protein balls for an easy pick-me-up. These will keep you feeling satisfied for hours.
I suggest making a batch or two and storing them in the freezer. When you’re on the run, grab a couple, and the protein balls will defrost as you run your errands. Or pop them in the microwave for 10 seconds for a warm brownie-like treat.
The recipe calls for no sweetener, but if your sweet tooth calls for it, add 1-2 teaspoons of stevia or maple syrup to taste.
They’ll keep well in an air-tight container in the fridge for up to 1 week or in the freezer for up to 3 months.

The combination of blueberries and chocolate must be so good! I do like protein balls but the ones bought taste awful. So much better to make them yourself.

Hi there! This calorie count is an estimate because there may be variations in types of vanilla protein powder you use. If you assume 4 servings from this recipe, the calories per serving are around 216 calories. I hope that helps!
